Participants will learn mindfulness, soft belly breathing and self-care. Yoga will strengthen the muscles, improve balance, flexibility and focus. This true story talks about the early days of wildife conservation in the United States, and how people came together to prevent the bird hunting trade. Discover how the Stranahans of Fort Lauderdale were both a part and against the bird hunting and how early South Florida was effected by this industry. More

With the help of the book In My Heart: A Book of Feelings by Jo Witek, students will be encouraged to share-out and discuss how they experience emotions like happiness, anger or frustration while learning better ways to express them. Students will then create their own individual paper heart art. More
